Zeitkörper  -  working in progress and process ("growing sculpture")

Material:

Fertigstellung: siehe Zusatz, Titel

* linear = Berechnung Materialmenge (Wollfäden) = Abmessung in Meter (Längenmaß)
zirkular = Verarbeitungsmethode des Materials = Umwicklung (kreisförmige Wiederholung)

Hauptparameter für die Verarbeitung des Materials (Wollfäden):
Transformationsparameter (Zeit in Raum): 1 Minute = 1 cm

"Zeitkörper"  -  working in progress and process ("growing sculpture")

Material:
wrapped wool from personal old woollen clothes and corresponding amount of  wool  (specific parameter) from family, relatives, friends etc. plus bought in wool

Development beginning: Dec.06/Jan.07
Completion: look at addendum of the title

Transformation experiment of linear and circular qualities of time in a material substantiality, expressed in a personal "(path of)life-woolball"
Lifetime as a linear and circular process, at which the material of the artwork (wool) embodies the potential to express these two processes as (two) qualities of space*  in one sculptural entity.
The object grows by spatial compression.

*linear = calculation of the amount of the material (wool) = measurement in meters =  linear dimension
circular = processing method of the material = wrapping = circular reiteration

Main parameter for the treatment of the material (wool):

Transformationparameter (time in space): 1 minute = 1 cm

"Form is a bare, neither space nor of time-bound relationship.

Space is the certain infinite - time the uncertain finite.

The time can only be measured by the space, the space only by the time.

Space relates to views - Time to imaginations."
