This year Noima Group is represented by the Schleifmühlgasse 12-14 Viennese Gallery (http://12-14.org/) at Art Safari Bucharest 2015 – 13-17 May. Schleifmühlgasse 12-14, administered by foreign affairs & curator Denise Parizek and office & junior curator Dora Da Costa, will promote four Romanian painters of Group NOIMA at Art Safari Fair this year. Works by Sorin Scurtulescu, Andrei Rosetti, Ciprian Bodea and Cosmin FrunteÈ™ will be displayed on the picture rails of the stand D3.

Inside Out – Group Noima exhibition at CărtureÅŸti Verona – Bookstore and tea

On May 15th at 20:00 the opening of Inside Out exhibition will take place at CărtureÅŸti Verona – Bookstore and tea. The exhibition contains a selection of paintings, drawings and mixed techniques, personal studio works of the group’s artists. It can be visited until May 28th. The first Inside Out exhibition of NOIMA Group took place last winter in BraÈ™ov, while the next one will take place in September in Vienna, Austria.

Garden/Block/Head/Body/Rome – Sorin Scurtulescu’s works will be on display at Cecilia CuÅ£escu Storck Gallery – ASE
Cecilia CuÅ£escu Storck Gallery (The Bucharest University of Economic Studies – Angelescu Building, first floor) will host ʺGarden/Block/Head/Body/Romeʺ exhibition of  the Romanian painter Sorin Scurtulescu in May and June. The varnishing day will be on Thursday, May 14th 2015, at 18:00. Sorin Scurtulescu is involved in the “ASE’s Painters” project coordinated by Dr. Florentin Gabriel Niculescu.

Sorin Scurtulescu (born May 25th, 1979, Timisoara) is a member of NOIMA Group. His most important personal exhibitions: Roma corp urban (Rome urban body), Muzeul de Artă (Art Museum);  TimiÅŸoara, (2013) Roma corpo urbano, Noua Galerie a IRCCU VeneÈ›ia (2012) (The new Gallery of IRCCU, Venice); Il corpo urbano notturno, Accademia di Romania Roma (2011); EcorÈ™eu, Galeria Calina (Calina Gallery), TimiÅŸoara (2009); Plein Air, Palatul MogoÈ™oaia, BucureÈ™ti (2007); Melnikow Gallery, Heidelberg (2007); Bloc, Galleria 28, TimiÅŸoara (2005).

The event is dedicated to the English painter Geoff Morten (1947-2009), professor and friend of the artist during his studies in England.

Andrei Rosetti – between friendships PROLOG – the exhibition 90×30 at Galeria Romană.

The exhibition Prolog 90×30 can be visited until the end of May at Galeria Romană. One work by Andrei Rosetti is on display in the section dedicated to Prolog friends. Other works that may be admired belong to Afane Teodoreanu, Vasile Varga, Gheorghe Berindei, Florin Niculiu, Ion Nicodim, Octav Grigorescu, Horia Bernea, Sorin Dumitrescu and Dan Mohanu. The exhibition opened on April 24th. There is also a catalogue of the exhibition which will be borrowed by Jecza Gallery (TimiÈ™oara) from December 2015 to January 2016.

Andrei Rosetti (born December 8th, 1974, Deva) is a member of NOIMA Group. He, along members of Prolog Group, went to several study camps (Åžirnea, Mount Athos, Dubova) and has had his works displayed in different galleries.

NOIMA Painting Group (http://www.noima.ro/) was founded in 2003 by six former students of Art and Design University in Timișoara, under the guidance of the painter Constantin Flondor.

 

Anul acesta Grupul Noima va fi reprezentat în perioada 13-17 mai la Art Safari Bucharest 2015 de Galeria vieneză Schleifmühlgasse 12-14 (http://12-14.org) . SpaÈ›iul austriac Schleifmühlgasse 12-14, condus de foreign affairs & curator Denise Parizek È™i office & junior curator Dora Da Costa, va promova în acest an la târgul Art Safari patru pictori români din acest grup. Astfel pe simezele standului D3 (etajul 3) vor putea fi văzute lucrări realizate de Sorin Scurtulescu, Andrei Rosetti, Ciprian Bodea È™i Cosmin FrunteÈ™.

Din Interior – expoziÅ£ie a grupării Noima la Ceainăria CărtureÅŸti Verona

În data de 15 mai la ora 19.30 va avea loc la Ceainăria CărtureÅŸti Verona, deschiderea expoziÅ£iei “Din Interior / Inside Out”. Sub acest nume Noima propune o selecÅ£ie de lucrări de pictură, desen ÅŸi tehnici mixte, preocupări personale de atelier ale artiÅŸtilor grupării. Prima expoziÅ£ie intitulată astfel ÅŸi în care s-au confruntat proiectele personale ale pictorilor din Noima a avut loc iarna trecută la BraÅŸov. Proiectul va continua la Viena în septembrie 2015. ExpoziÅ£ia va putea fi vizitată până în 28 mai.
